Each of the large oak swings are individually hand crafted from different pieces of green oak therefore colour, size and shape may vary. As green oak dries and weathers it will start to change in shape and colour. This should be seen as one of the beautiful characteristics of using natural materials and is a natural and normal process and just adds to your swings individuality. There is no need to treat your swing seat with any chemicals or preservatives as oak contains natural tannins that will help to naturally preserve the wood.
